What is direct delivery processing, and when is it used?

※ This guidance applies equally to all manufacturers.

Select 'Direct Delivery' only if the rewards are provided in a non-courier manner (face-to-face, on-site receipt, e-mail, etc.). This method does not allow you to enter the courier or invoice number, and if the supporter does not press "Receive Completion", it will be processed as automatic delivery completion after a certain period of time after direct delivery registration. It may take time to confirm receipt, so there is a possibility that the settlement will be slightly delayed.

For projects that deliver rewards on site or face-to-face at the appointed location, select 'Direct Delivery' at the shipment processing stage. Delivery tracking is not provided at this time, so you cannot enter the courier and invoice number, and if the supporter clicks the 'Receive Complete' button after receiving it, it will be immediately reflected as delivery complete. If the supporter does not click the Ready button, it will automatically switch to Ready Delivery.

(1) If the destination is South Korea: 10 days after "direct delivery" processing, it is considered delivery completed

(2) If the destination is outside of Korea: 20 days after "direct delivery" processing, it is considered delivery completed

Please make sure to check the following matters when processing direct delivery.

  • If sent by courier, do not use 'direct delivery'. When sending a parcel, be sure to register the courier and invoice number to provide tracking.

  • Direct delivery may take time to confirm receipt, which may delay the final settlement.

  • If you are not an intangible (digital) reward, we recommend that you send a courier (invoice registration) to provide accurate delivery information and reduce inquiries.

  • On-site receipt notices can reduce delays and inquiries by including a 'receipt complete' click guide immediately after receipt.
